Industry Technology Development Program (ITDP)

Sabree Software Services (S3) is pleased to partner with Virginia State University (VSU) to offer the Industry Technology Development Program (ITDP)! 

 

The Industry Technology Development Program (ITDP) was established to:

• Create a robust and dynamic environment where college STEM students, and particularly those interested in pursuing careers in Systems and Software Development can:

  • gain practical, hand-on experience working in a collaborative team environment

  • receive exposure and training with industry-focused emerging technologies

  • employ industry standard development methodologies and processes

  • receive mentorship from industry professions

• Create a student-to-workforce pipeline

• Provide exclusive access to industry opportunities

 

The ITDP has two (2) components:

• Internships
  Designed to give sophomores and juniors the opportunity to learn about new and emerging technologies in industry, through training and practical, hands-on experience.  

• The Innovation Factor Challenge (IFC)

A competition available to college seniors providing them the opportunity to identify, create, and demonstrate innovative, high-impact prototypes of product ideas in emerging technology areas that have commercialization potential.
